Finally got my Zodiark Umbral God deck to do something yesterday. Gray Merchant of Asphodel gained me 54 life after being cast and later later reanimated twice. Still wasn't enough to win me the game but it was awesome fun #mtg #mtgcommander #magicthegathering

Magic the Gathering card Artifact Mutation. Cost one red and one green. Instant. Destroy target artifact. It can't be regenerated. Create X 1 / 1 green Saproling creature tokens, where X is that artifact's mana value. Art by Jose Parodi depicts a robotic humanoid figure made of copper or brass in the middle of a jungle, with fines and fungus growing off its body.

Today's removal is a classic that give you more upside the bigger the thing you blow up. Love when a Caged Sun explodes into several plant dudes!
