It's pretty good, I think the things it tries to do to switch things up from the classic RE formula are pretty neat but they don't really do much meaningful with it and the lack of item boxes combined with the small inventory space makes item management pretty annoying sometimes.

11) Resident Evil 0

I honestly haven't played this one until tonight and it was actually pretty good, a nice 8-bit version of Sonic 2 with some Sonic 1 and 3 sprinkled in there! The screen crunch and the fact that Sonic 2 special stages just don't work for an 8-bit handheld do suck though.

10) Sonic the Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure

I played this once back in 2016, it was my first RE game far before I branched out to the other games during 2020-2021. Now that I revisited it almost 10 years later... yeah it's still bad and easily the worst game in the series. I'll never revisit this game again lol

I played this once in 2021 when I was prepping for Village's release, haven't revisited it since until just now. I still don't care for this game much but playing in multiplayer this time around made me appreciate a bit more. It's fine, nothing special either though.

It's been a long while since a game grabbed me so much that I was glued to the screen to the point where I beat it this quick but man, Requiem is easily one of the best games in the series. It combines the best of RE2R and RE4R, improving aspects of them both, and remixing ideas throughout all of the series. It's a blast from start to finish. I don't usually replay a game very close to when I finish it for the first time but I'm gonna start a replay asap on Switch 2 since I bought the generation pack lol

Easily the best of the MGS trilogy in both story and gameplay. I loved it and I’m excited to get to MGS4 in the near future to see how that one is.

6) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

i’ve asked for the GBA games on switch for years so i’m glad it’s finally happened in some form but again, please keep going with this and bring the other GBA games over (along with the GB and DS ones)

and lastly:

thank you nintendo for telling me absolutely nothing here, it’s not like i was curious to know if this will run at 1080p in handheld when played on switch 2 or if it’ll just run at the original resolution lol

my take of FRLG switch:

- i like this approach more than if it was on NSO, slightly better way of preserving these games despite it being digital only
- $20 is cheaper than i would have expected even if i would prefer it to be $5-$10
- don’t make this a one time thing, bring the other games over

I've tried this game a few times over the years. First on Xbox 360, then on Xbox One, and then again on PC a few years back. Each time I just could never get into it but this time I decided to give it one last shot and somehow, it finally clicked. I don't like it as much as Minecraft and I never will but man, this is still really fun, especially with a group of friends.
