When things are hard, perspective is important.
It’s that time of year! Shout out to anyone else celebrating ant season in their kitchen, bathroom, living room and everywhere else!
Important to remember while we are in three wars, can’t afford anything and tax day is next week.
Happy Easter! Biblically accurate Jesus.
I loved every minute of Project Hail Mary. Amaze Amaze Amaze. Fell in love with a rock.
Every year we do an egg hunt for our neighborhood and Viv’s friends. Here’s the art from the invite.
Before holidays I volunteer to paint the windows for the residents of the nursing home and long-term care facility where my aunt Lori works.
Here are my latest paintings for Easter. I’m especially fond of judgey peep and bunny butt. I use Posca, acrylic and tempera paint.
No Kings
I call this piece, “Where the are my fries? I only came here for fries. This is bullshit. There are much worse things happening right now but I’m still sad about fries.” India ink, chalk and pastel on recycled cardboard.
Get em’ opossum.
I don’t know ya, but I love ya. A philosophy I can get behind.
I finally did it. I made a giant ass strawberry for our living room. Viv for scale. It’s made out of recycled cardboard, tempera paint and Posca markers. We are slowly turning our home into Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Happy Friday the 13th! Don’t die!
My heart can’t take anymore Punch the monkey updates.
Made some more giant food art. Please enjoy the STRAWBERRY! Viv & I made. Posca, tempera & India ink on recycled cardboard.
We have a new organization we’d love you to join. Many of my book friends will be in Pittsburgh for ABA’s Winter Institute next week & I made stickers to give out. I do these sticker giveaways to encourage folks to come say hi and chat so please do! I’ll also gladly take your stickers.
You’re trash. Perspective is important.
Happy President’s Day! Another lesson learned recently in why billionaires should not exist. The Washington Post laid off 300 employees, including its sports section, several foreign bureaus and its books coverage.
Before each holiday, I volunteer to paint the windows for the residents of the nursing home & long-term care facility where my aunt works. Here are my Valentine’s windows using Posca.
This zine is a public service for anybody still in need of Valentine’s ideas for your partner.
ICE out everywhere. Call on congress to defund and abolish ICE.
Love and support to everyone participating in the nationwide general strike today.
Here's a sticker I designed for Terrie, Daniel & the dope folks at the Independent Publishers Caucus for an upcoming indie press event in Pittsburgh.
We are in this together.
A drawing I did a few years ago. Seems relevant now more than ever. You can pick up or order pins and stickers from your local independent bookstore. Might I suggest DreamHaven Books in Minneapolis.
Ernie is wise. Listen to Ernie.
This took awhile but I finally updated all the bookstore maps and added separate designs for Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Columbus and Cincinnati. Each map is composed of the names of the independent bookstores in that state or city. I love doing these.
I made a giant version of Sandra’s Taco Bell order. A Crunchwrap Supreme with beans, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and ranch. Painted with tempera, India ink and Posca on recycled cardboard.
Be like Pikachu.
Hey friends, every year on my birthday I start a new playlist for the year. I’m a little late going for this year but wanted to start it now. Please share a song that you’re into and I’ll add it to the playlist. I listen to pretty much everything. Cheers!
