The only "AI" I've ever used is predictive (ie spelling and grammar checkers) and those tools have been around for quite a long time. Gen AI has no place in the creative process.

I don't even know if chatgpt is an app or is it on the browser or what, I have never even felt the need to find out where AI is and how to use it, it's so little of interest to me. I love creating! So why would I let someone else come eat my steak and fuck my wife etc!?

I don't do this but twitter and tiktok are being ass about getting this shit removed and it's incredibly irritating to watch someone just lie to people and they fall for it. So yeah this person on twitt ripped my art in the most egregious way I've seen anyone rip my art. They didn't even TRACE.

Have you tried reaching out to local resources like APS? I don't know specifics in your state, but there should be a gov Health and Human Services site. Maybe check out Michigan 211.

I did house cleans at my last job in conjunction with my state's APS and a lot of people don't know it exists.

Promising premise, but unfocused with lots of pacing issues. Not a bad novel, just rough. Fell flat for me.

When we create a state that is so focused on cruelty, we are always going to empower people like this. The cruelty is not a byproduct, it is an inevitable consequence.

Ironically the BBC stumbled on a really important story: Desperate asylum seekers being forced to turn to fraudulent fee-charging โ€œadvisorsโ€ to navigate a system that is intentionally impossibly baroque and from which all sources of free advice have been removed.

But no: they chose Fake Gay Panic.

It's from strangers, which is such whiplash for me, because at my last job, I'd go into strangers' homes and they almost always assumed I was a guy! I'm wearing the exact same clothes/mask, too, so I'm baffled. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Being uniquely placed to speak on this particular indicator as someone who works at a food bank, the simple facts that we keep breaking records for most neighbors served in a week at our brick and mortar food pantry and every mobile food pantry is twenty to thirty families higher than usual

the fact that legislators are trying to say that computers are devices that require id verification and tracking to use should put fear into EVERYONE. FIGHT AGAINST THIS.

Cover of Tender is the Flesh. On a black background, the bust of a human with their head turned to the left. The image is cut off at the bridge of the nose. Above, in red, is the silhouette of the top of a bull's head and horns so that it's aligned with the lower human features.

Disturbing novel about the arbitrary moral lines drawn by individuals and society, as well as an incisive critique on industrial farming and capitalism. It doesn't flawlessly nail the landing but it's still very good.

Gotta stress again how a lot of the kindest, most welcoming, most respectful, and most supportive friends Iโ€™ve met online are actually those who are into icky gross disgusting problematic fiction. They're the best and honestly the chillest people to be around. I feel safer when I'm around them.

Going after queer people online for having benign kinks that hurt nobody is especially frustratingly dumb when the world is being ran by pedophilic, rapist sex traffickers who probably won't face real consequences

Like, the trans woman with the fictional incest kink is not your enemy.
