Massive caves in Kenya weren't formed geologically, instead created by elephants seeking salt, breaking up rocks with their tusks and licking away the cavern walls. 🧪
Saw this used uncredited (my name was cropped out!) in a music compilation vid with tons of views on youtube some years ago, at least people in the comments credited me 😬
It would take another three days for the Cleric to finally stop being mesmerised by the Orb of Colour Spray and return to the tavern to finally complete the adventure…

Though as much as I loved Nicola Coughlan’s titular Joy, Steph De Whalley absolutely steals the show altogether as a hotel worker that The Doctor ends up befriending for a while.
The exact energy and confidence with which Moffat writes Gatwa’s Doctor really ought to be the standard for him. It feels like he has such a specific understanding of who the Doctor is.

And to hinge it all on a character so cinematically tied to such a specific texture and ideal that often feels like an antithesis to the sorts of themes Gunn is drawn to, it’ll be a fascinating watch for sure.
I feel like it’s a rock and a hard place for Gunn (or anyone taking that position over in general) his whole mandate is to reboot a shared cinematic universe in a time when the entire concept is generally growing stale.
