The UC system has been prohibited from considering race since the 1990s. A small increase in Black and Latinx students in recent years still led to a lawsuit. This backlash has always been based in the idea that Black and Latinx people are just inherently inferior.

The “Tulancingo-1” satellite dish which is being converted into a radio telescope. It was used to transmit the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.
