Young people are spending longer in temporary accommodation in Wales, risking their long-term physical and emotional well-being. More needs to be done to identify young people at risk early and intervene to prevent homelessness.

We talked about the realities of youth homelessness in Wales and my recent report Nowhere For Them To Go, which highlights just some of the isssue with the youth homelessnesssystem in Wales. She's gone on to achieve some really remarkable things, and I was glad to be able to play a small part.

Homelessness: I sat my GCSEs while living in a hotel temporarily Mia and her siblings lived in temporary accommodation for 18 months after a no fault eviction.

I recently spoke with Mia from the BBC Wales News young reporters scheme about her experience of homelessness and how we can do more to support young people in her situation.
