to me the Forerunners are the true antagonists of the franchise bc if it wasn't for them non of this would of happened

overall, the story was peak from halo 1 to 3 and somewhat 4 it made me understand the Flood for what it is and its origins along with the Forerunners and their motives I have mad respect for the Arbiter and pity the covenant bc they believe the rings were something holy but it destroys all life.

after playing the Halo MCC (didnt play reach yet) but i have to say that John's story is one of the saddest lost Captain Keyes then Cortana in the 2nd game the 3rd one you lost Sgt. Johnson to 343 Guilty Spark due to it trying to make sure the ring was ready and then losing Cortana in Halo 4
