We need these agencies to think bigger & stop catering to private vehicles that are only worsening this climate crisis.

Port Authority is a government agency, not a private corporation. Yet, they operate against the public good frequently by underfunding public transportation. We had to campaign just to restore PATH service to the same level as it was 20 years ago. And where is the PATH extension to Newark Airport?

With the Governor fighting to push back the deadline on our climate goals we’re in a critical moment. But lost in the conversation is a sector that makes up over a third of all emissions: transportation. We can’t meet our climate goals without reducing driving.
