This poem, entitled 'Needles' is presented in the form of a Christmas tree. These words form the shape of the tree:

I
wrote
a poem
in the shape
of a Christmas
tree but then forgot
to water it and only a few

days
later
there

And these words are distributed around the base of my poem 'tree' as if they've fallen off it:

were
words
all
over
the carpet

cis folks: one thing to know is that while there are orgs helping trans folks, the needs rn HUGELY exceed the funding they have available.

want to help trans people? a real material thing you can do is donate to these orgs, especially the smaller orgs

Seeing some of the new arrivals posting about Bluesky being boring.

I hate to break it to you, but if you find Bluesky boring, that's 100% your fault, because the only person working behind the scenes here to make it not boring is… you.

Here's some of the “work” that I've done and recommend… 🧵

A shocking description 👇🏾 of how women are being let down by scientific research communities in India. This is of course only mirroring many of the trends that we know exist everywhere else too. The 📊 showing conferences where women are outnumbered or excluded entirely leaves one absolutely appalled.
