I have body image issues and have been going through the wringer this past year. The comments got to me yesterday.

Just going to say this, it is unacceptable to negatively comment on someone's:
-Appearance
-Age
-Body type
-Outfit
-Body odor
-Gender expression
-Car (or lack thereof)
-Apparent income

I don't know what it is with people in Boystown, but a lot of them are mean and rude.

Not to mention, the last time I was at Sidetrack, I was in a rubber suit (MIR after party) & a guy shoved me out of the way without saying "excuse me" or "sorry". Or the random unsolicited negative comments on my outfit on Halsted by some random guys another time I was up there, leaving Cell Block.

There is science behind why others detect my smell, but it's completely out of my control & has to do with genetics & body chemistry, not hygiene. The guy commenting on me probably smells bad to other people too. It's also not okay to shame someone or throw dirty looks because they aren't your type.

Yeah, just people saying "ew" and laughing when I walked by or commenting on the fact they can smell my body odor & don't think I used deodorant...Even though I showered & put on deodorant before going to the bar.

It's unacceptable to behave that way. Don't say that stuff.
