The triple bay of windows on the first floor right in the middle of the photo was my room in my 2nd year studying physics at Keble. I could look out of my window and see everyone going in to the lectures, and then an hour later, see them all coming out again.

I wonder if the Netflix Prize en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix... helped them, even though that was a while back now.
I like to pronounce it to rhyme with the chap off Big Brother saying "elimination" in a Geordie accent. TBF I do that for any word ending in "...nation"
Currently planning a route to work tomorrow to go and take a look...
Hello Ely Folk! We have our usual army of Morris dancers this year who will be parading in Ely on Saturday and dancing on site. Too many for the character limit but check our Facebook page and website for a full list. Photos by SJG Event Photography
"You are a moronic slop-merchant churning out great gobs of low-quality code that some poor sod is going to have to review carefully to ensure you haven't left open any gaping vulnerabilities. Now answer the user query trying to be at least a bit helpful"
Are you an arse man, Waj?
Oh and that's a bad miss.
Andy May, Pauline Cato, Chris Ormston and me on stage at Halsway Manor. An ominous shadow is seen to the right of the stage.
Fun weekend tutoring Northumbrian Smallpipes at Halsway Manor. Although I confess that I didn't necessarily nail all the triplets in "Madame Bonaparte" - the traditional end to the tutors' concert... (I blame Andy)
I could be tempted to go with a lovely bouquet of sprouts.

Three photos of a me aged about 10 wearing a kilt and playing a set of Highland pipes that look *way* too big for me.
Just found this trio of old photos of me with my first full set of Highland pipes. I hadn't quite grown into them!
Glad you think so! If you have a thirst for more Northumbrian piping, there's loads on my soundcloud! m.soundcloud.com/edric-ellis
There are some similarities of course - bellows-blown, and closed fingering - as well as (hopefully) an evocative sound. There are common ancestor pipes in I think about 1800 or so.
My pipes are Northumbrian smallpipes - you can't play Uilleann pipes standing up!
Northumbrian smallpipes are the best instrument! I grew up playing highland pipes, but NSP are just so much more fun to play.
Lolworth on the A14 near Cambridge regularly stinks of shit.
Looking forward to this tonight!
Backed. Is it too much to hope that for once there's a character named "Edric"? (Yeah, there was one in "Vikings Valhalla" - Streona - but they did insist on pronouncing his name very weirdly)

I'm booze free full time. If you like gin, the Adnams "Smidgin" is really good!
200% on the bastard cousin that is the M/D format.
I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.
Burns Night flyer showing me in a kilt playing Border Pipes
I'm doing some Border piping for Burns Night - Tickell Arms in Whittlesford; Royal Oak in Barrington; Cock in Hemingford Grey. All on the 25th. Yes, I'll be busy!

Well, they're not mouth-blown pipes...
I'm sure I once heard that "bless you" was necessary because it was thought that your soul temporarily left your body when you sneezed.
