Holy crap the turbulence on QH921 is shocking today. Akl to Doha. The bit from Akl to Aus is horrendous so far. Only 12,000km to go!

Finished the book. Very enjoyable. Back to reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series for the nth+1 time.

25th wedding anniversary today. Still as happy now as I was back then. Love you loads Vicki :)

Melancholy weekend. Long drive down to what was my parents home which my brother and I are in the process of selling. I don’t anticipate seeing the property again which marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Still enjoying the book, but discovered The Pitt. Not really my wife’s cup of tea so watched it by myself. Such an engaging series, was drawn in almost immediately - I watched all fifteen episodes in a row. Bring on series two.

Enjoying the book still although I will admit it is very hard to hold it when your arm is in a sling.

Problem solved. I have something to fill the sleepless hours now. My darling wife just handed me Ask A Historian by the awesome @gregjenner.bsky.social

Currently off sick recuperating from surgery. I have found a programme to watch. Thanks to @davegorman.bsky.social for the most enjoyable Modern Life is Goodish, even though I appear to be a few years late to the party. 13 episodes done, 26 to go.

Thursday: nothing interesting to report today except that my Insta algorithm is now full of nothing but tattoos.

I think the painkillers present the ideal opportunity for additional tattoos!

Forgotten just awesome T2 is. Great movie :)

Wednesday morning: holy shit the blockers have worn off now. Impossible to get comfortable.

Tuesday evening: something to report. Rotator cuff repair completed. Blocker meds still, er, blocking. Anticipate pain tomorrow when they wear off.

Tuesday lunchtime: still nothing to report of interest.
