I really do hope I live to see the day where all this rhetorical bullshit is finally put to rest.

Some massive world awakening, someone with a big enough microphone and authority to shut it down , instead of feeding it for profit and influence.

1st- The fact that they're highlighting that age range is.. revolting and rage inducing.

2nd - Our society has high levels of stress and lack of access to resources.
(Both manufactured)

When those two things happen living creatures stop producing the hormones required to sustain reproduction.

I always run by it pretty quick

Give your environment a few minutes
Give your NPCs a few seconds

Because unless the players are really looking, that's all the characters are going to catch.

When I was a young GM that was really hard, but worth learning to do.

...where we all get the most benefit in our society and no one has to suffer for others to gain.

I believe that because through history, in our own minds, across a multitude of cultures and faiths -

#Humanity drives itself toward prosperity in unity, but we still have a lot to learn.

...sold to those in our collective that want to believe that the hard work of understanding is too much work, too much for the benefit. A lie sold to them with the package.

I still, now and will always, believe, that we are better than we are. I believe that we can push everyone forward to a future

We are driven as a collective species to the greatest benefit, with the least effort, as defined by our leadership.

But we also must contend with the minority groups that sell fear, bigotry, and hate as a means to power and dominance. Those are easy, and only benefit the few.

I've always believed in the nature of humans to fight, to sacrifice, to endure for one another.

I spent most of my life reading psychology, sociology, anthropology, and history. Consistently I find that we will rise to the lowest. As society defines the lowest acceptable morality, we shift to it.

In the troubling times we live in I often find solace in stories.

Stories of human potential. Some taken from history, most just fantasy. Fantasy that speaks more like a long wish than fiction.

I've always been a believer that we, humans, are capable of kindness, compassion, and understanding.

...troubles they had in their relationships.

It was a good place to be and it was a mutual respected boundary.

...and I want to hurt these douchebags that took something special and turned it into something disgusting.

Then they started saying shit like
" She friendzoned me" like it was a punishment that they somehow were being denied their reward for effort.

I had several female friends and we were in the friend zone.
These are girls that felt safe around me, talked with me like a friend, and shared with me

I'm old.
The friend zone at one point in our society was a positive place.

It was a place where a man and a woman knew their relationship was platonic and that was it.

The fuck boys are the ones who changed the label to being negative. They felt that giving women attention entitled them to them.

I've had to unfollow like a dozen accounts in the last couple of weeks.

They're useless engagement accounts.

Pose a question or a comment to get people to start talking, but the original poster never comes back.

That's not social. That's just media and it's garbage.

The prevailing parenting style being pushed throughout the mid 1900s was an authoritarian style, leveraged for fieldy and obedience over self-efficacy and critical thinking.

Unfortunately, that also laid the social groundwork for authoritarian governance being more widely accepted as "normal".

I have zero faith that Dems will really do anything if they get power.

Every time they get into power they pussyfoot around actually helping people - trying to keep the same people R's are actively advocating for happy, just less aggressively.

D's Status quo is the same system, just softer.

I'll run

I have no idea how, but I'm up for it
I'm open to learning and want to see the country moving in a direction that is safe, affordable, and a place of pride for everyone again

You might think the number going down is good but the problem is these are all the same guys...
None of them are in jail. None of them have stopped committing financial crimes... We've just just written the laws that they stopped being crimes...

I don't know..
Before they had all these legal protections, we used to just burn down their businesses and drag them out of their homes...

That usually sorted it out real quick.

Would really baffles my mind in regard to dealing with some of these people is how adamant they are that they are absolutely right and they are absolutely truthful and everyone should just believe them.

But that's never held up under scrutiny or oath

But they keep doing it

Fantastic!
Crisis mode is hard to break and can seem paralyzing to do at times.

There is a healthy pride in shaking off those mental shackles on your path to becoming who you want to be, and who you feel you are meant to be. ๐Ÿค˜

That also cascades into the role of manufactured scarcity in capitalism and how it drives conformity to gender/sexual identity to the view points of the ones in control of the resources.

If the person in control of the food says, "no food unless girls wear dresses" then girls will wear dresses.

...in an effort to empower the ruling class of the society in observation.

As the more consistent truth is that as resources are more abundant and return on Labor is high gender roles tend to disappear and even aspects of sexual/gender discrimination fade as well.

A lot of anthropologists see the gendered roles as division of labor, but despite it's prevalence, it largely doesn't hold up as a "natural" division.
Too many exceptions to claim it is a natural state. Almost like never division is made up based on social/political/religious reason (make believe)

Hand glasping meme Capitalism and authoritarianism/fascism/racism and a mutual focus of sacrificing society for profit

Capitalism as always, favored profit.
It doesn't care who creates it, all profit is good to a system that places morality on money.

And whether they have voiced it outwardly or not. The majority of them have said "no more".

I see it in my business articles talking about how gen z has no respect for the system of authority as it is... And I cheer them on.

They refuse to be abused and exploited.. and I cheer them on

The abuse from the powerful is never the problem, it's only a problem when the powerless fight back.

That's their entire list, those who are abused defending themselves.

The younger generation, post-millennials, are smart enough to see the damage that has been caused to the people before them
