FFS, now it wants me to install a font called Roboto.

Thankfully, I tried again and it's now installed. Must have thrown a seven.
A CNC control program downloading onto my laptop. The progress bar is at 94%, which took a long time. It then crashed. I'm about ready to leave teeth marks in furniture.
I am now *very* pissed off. This got all the way up to 100 and then failed to install. I need this to work, it's for an exam next week and I really need to practise.
This has always been how I saw it, by the very nature of time travel. There are specific events that happen to each regeneration, but they are in a different reality each time, accessed by the Tardis: I am ignorant enough of physics to be quite happy with this explanation.
This is lovely. Mine is the husband if my wife's best friend, who I met on the day of his wedding. We rarely speak except in person, and at the moment we live in different countries, but when we meet up it's like no intervening time has passed. Just inexplicably happy in each other's company.
I mean, UK libel laws are rightly notorious, but at least there's a clear exemption for things clearly beneath meriting a response. "Base abuse", if I remember my Private Eye accurately.
I disabled autocorrect years ago, and have fewer typos as a result. It's a big factor in my AI scepticism.
Bloody hell. I don't like to criticise my host nation, much, but the stereotype of people taking their dignity much too seriously seems to be accurate.
I mean, Merkel, for all her faults, would simply have laughed at that.
Thanks. Christ, that's petty.
Yes, I'm finding it's very handy for individual words, but that's about it.
I'm finding the etymology of concepts fascinating, though. To pour water is a different word for pouring wine: the latter is related to giving a gift, which displays the relative value placed on the substance.
I can't find a news story about this, was it Merz being mocked? He seems a bit thin skinned.
I used DeepL to translate a presentation into German, and got the feedback that the words were fine but the sentence structure was still very recognisably English. I can at least double check the meaning myself, but it's definitely limited in application.
I suspect it's because the next Labour PM will have a lot less bother about "red lines", whoever they are, and will get right into it. There isn't going to be a general election until this term is up.
I would like to remind the sort of 'journalist' who thinks it appropriate to "bring popcorn" that you are reporting on our actual politics. It affects our lives, and when you scramble the right wing into power for fun, you fuck it up.
It is not a fucking soap opera for your amusement, you cunts.
Gotta keep those kaiju tootsies toasty.
Sounds like a topic with a lot of potential.
And what a world that would be.
Absolutely. Just based on the sheer scale of lies, evasion and "lost" evidence in L1, quite a few people should have been jailed. These people have been pissing in the information pool, think they're untouchable kingmakers, and now Labour has proved them right.
Damn. I got one of those connectors so I could still play OG Vice City, and never got round to plugging it in. Will have to have a bash and see what happens.
This is exactly how I feel, and given their majority they could actually have done it. Pure cowardice. And digging their own grave to boot.
There's a great bit in this vid where the sword chap does exactly that, and says "you should talk to This Guy about it" - cut to This Guy talking about it. Really ups his credibility. And he has an excellent moustache.
Have you bought the Everlasting Jar of Tahini yet? Ours went out of date in 2017.
He's got so wound up now he's chasing an innocent ring dove that's popped in for the bird feeder.
Two mallards, a male and a female, sat on a covered trampoline while three dark coloured runner ducks are patrolling around it. Ninja is the one on the right in the ground.
We have a duck stand-off. Two wild mallards have decided to visit, and our male runner duck, Ninja, isn't keen. He is considerably hampered by the fact the mallards can fly, and he can't. They've taken up residence on the trampoline, leaving him trundling around fuming.
I just did a quick scan of that and it's properly kicked my "no shit, Sherlock" reflex. "Takes hours to cook a meal" can be true, but with practice it's 40 minutes tops and it really isn't rocket science. I put in a ten hour work day and still cook dinner ffs.
Get him and Balthasar from Queen's together and you're good to go with an academic feline calendar.
Nationalise the bastards. Be hilarious for Dyson to suddenly find he's publicly owned.
Musk clearly misunderstood the fundamental concepts of both the Culture and Heinlein's "grok".
