Further, as I recall, very few teams have special dialogue when first engaging in combat, like Reimu/Sanae and a few others.

You can "Game Over Grind" - if you game over on a level, you keep all the Exp and Level Ups you earned.

It's not really necessary on any difficulty, particularly outside of Lunatic (which is not intended for normal people, it's for NG+ only normally) but you can use it if you want.
