After hearing the accounts of people with chronic back pain, I am wondering if, in his mind, the death penalty doesn’t seem so bad to him. Chronic back issues causes pain in so many other parts of the body. It’s the brutal in a way that I had never heard described until recently.

We were backpacking the Reavis Ranch Trail in the Superstition Wilderness area, AZ when we found this fire still burning at an old campsite.
I don’t understand how someone could be so reckless. The trail runs through several burnt out areas from recent wildfires. So pissed off!
