They were completely justified in doing so. The liberal establishment just offers them the status quo. And the leftward parties are offering reheated 20th Century economics, and sleep-inducing grievance narratives that sound like establishment talking points because pop culture has co-opted them.
The media class is so obsessed with right/left alignment that they completely miss what democracies all over the world really voted for this year. There is no right-ward shift, it’s an authoritarian shift. They voted against inertia and for swift action. They voted to burn the rule-book.

So far, BlueSky feels like a reunion episode for 2012 Twitter. It’s all the same faces, but with the sad melancholy that comes with watching them battered and bruised by the grim march of time.
I posted about this at the other place. Some suggested this is work of Russian Troll farms or Elon-funded personally. But I reckon it’s just a direct result of the monetisation of Twitter + lack of moderation. Ultimately there is demand for this content, so it’s profitable.
Something very sus about these anon UK far-right accounts. They gain 10s of thousands of followers in a few months. And only exist to inflame tensions, inflate numbers and spread Far Right talking points. Same thing happened during the summer riots. And they are in lockstep...
