Bukhara is a great city. Even though I read a lot about it growing up, but this city still found a way to surprise me

When I posted about our spontaneous trip last week, I got comments that because we don't have kids we can do it. Of course, that is one of the main reasons and it was our choice to live a child-free life. We prefer to be auntie and uncle rather than mum and dad.

This is one of the most bizarre-looking attractions in Bukhara . Tt’s called Chor Minor. Basically means 4 minaret.
We were so excited to climb to the top for a small fee. We thought we’d get a beautiful view but instead, we ended up with this photo of us 😅 because there was no exciting view.

Confession time. Most days you need a mountain more than a work meeting, but sometimes we have to go to the meetings to be able to go to the mountains.

We drove an hour or so and arrived at our destination, to film, but as soon as we stepped out of the car, it started raining, it was so cold and windy. We ditched the camera and went for a walk. But we never give up, so the next day we went back and successfully filmed. Can you guess where it is?

We started driving from Surrey towards the north, I was with shorts and light short since it was almost 28 degrees. After 4.5 hour we arrived in York and it was 17 degrees and i needed a jacket to get out of the car. It felt we travelled to another country 😅

Shouldn’t parking be included at 4 or 5-star hotels, especially in the countryside?
So let me get this straight… I drive all the way to your remote hotel, stay in a luxury room, and then you charge me extra to park? Where else am I supposed to leave the car, in the forest with the deer? 😅

I checked in and noticed the plane wasn't full but for changing a seat, I needed to pay extra, so when we went to a counter to drop our bags, I asked if she could put us in an empty row, and she did so. We didn't pay extra, and I learned a lesson that if you need something, you need to ask.
