Probably still terrible? Unless telepathy also accounts for reconfiguring your muscle memory and anatomy.

Is LIWC reliable, efficient, and effective for the analysis of large online datasets in forensic and security contexts? This article evaluates the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC; Boyd et al., 2022) for the analysis …

Delighted to announce the pre-publication of this paper; it's one I've wanted to write for a while and was really pleased when Madi Hunter decided to give this the impetus and the heavy lifting that it required.

You touch on some very valid concerns, it’s a worrying trend.

On a hopeful note, we seem to have hit somewhat of a plateau in terms of AI capability. As the hype dies down, we’ll be able to better understand its limits and come up with tools and policies against nefarious use cases.

A good example is an adult impersonating a minor on a children’s website. Subtle linguistic clues can be difficult for humans to detect, but we can train specialized AI tools to assist in these types of investigations. The goal is not to let AI “take the wheel,” but to find the needle in the noise.

A scrawled signature on the front piece of a book

A scrawled signature on the front piece of a book

Want to play a game? I bought a signed copy of a book yesterday. Without cheating, whose signature is this? I’ll give points for partial credit (like initials).

I searched Google Books for the exact phrase above the signature, I figured the phrasing would vary slightly between publishers. HarperCollins came up a lot, so I went to their website, clicked bestsellers, searched "by L", and the third book was Mighty Red by L. Erdrich, which fit your pattern! :))

Is it... Louise Erdrich?

Pretty sure it's L....y C.....ce, but I'm stumped what that could be
