Ahahahaha I await their downfall with glee

Oh, I hope everything goes well
We don’t appreciate her art!
I had a cleaner today. She did a great job, and I’m very happy but Daisy is Not Impressed. She keeps going around and sniffing the corners (probably planning on how to make cat hair drifts reoccur)
(I have visual processing issues. My ADHD means I find it difficult to finish something I'm watching unless I'm physically in a situation where I CAN'T walk away)
... I still haven't seen Heated Rivalry, but I console myself with the fact that I did actually read the books.
I haven’t read it, but I’m entirely philosophically opposed to nihilism, so it’s probable that I would spend the entire book wanting to punch the author.
What book?
ALL of the left-wing ex-cradle catholics are against Vance (I've seen so many people go "I would GO BACK TO CHURCH to spite Vance because I'm a better Catholic than he is" (they left the church over 2 decades ago).
I left the church age 16, and I practically spontaneously generated a rosary.
What I can't get over is how much EVERYONE is against Vance in this. The Iranian president (an Islamic nation) called it an insult. The Order of Hibernians, those right-wing fuckers who are usually more concerned with keeping LGBT people out of St Paddys day are against it.
I have never laughed so much in my entire life.
I was raised Catholic: by nuns no less and left the church when I was 16 due to their treatment of women’s rights and queer people but this dude can Fuck right off. If he has a problem with the pope he can leave like the rest of us
archiveofourown.org/works/80912241 This is also good
yeah, I would basically have to have a mantra of "mistakes give CHARACTER" because fuck that shit, I'm not frogging. It FELTS.
this man gives me second-hand embarrassment SO BADLY.
Bendigo Woollen Mills has silk mohair available in some gorgeous shades but I'd need to feel it before buying it because mohair LOOKS cozy but is emphatically not. It's one of the itchiest fibres on earth.
Daisy, I shouldn’t have to remind you that you are an obligate carnivore and as such shouldn’t be eating my spinach and mushrooms. Weirdo cat.
It’s got new art! Maps! (Also I have strong feelings that publishers need to do more in the way of special editions because they take all the risk)
I have had a preview of the new illustrations and it’s GORGEOUS
I did NOT see that coming
The other morning Blake came and collapsed against me for pets. Apparently he didn’t want his chest patted, so he tried to bite me but because my fingers were buried in his fur he only bit himself and then he got mad because of it. Like, sir, this is a self-inflicted problem!
A flock of sulphur-crested cockatoos pull rubbish out of a green bin. There is rubbish on the ground (and one corella)
That sounds like precisely my jam! (there was one fantasy series I can't remember the name of where a D&D group got transported into their characters and decided to end slavery & build bridges but they ended up on the premise of "all the women need to breed as much as possible" so I noped out.)
The summary isn't inspiring, but I'll give it a go! Thank you!
oh, it's on netflix! Thanks for the rec, I'll give it a go
BAH. The one good dish they do on ONE day of the week (Tandoori chicken on Thursdays) and they ran out before I could get any.
This is why I keep snacks in my desk.
I have already read it! It was great! (Extra points for the cannibalism, which I LOVED)
