Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

A photo of my homemade toad in the hole. Sausages baked within a Yorkshire pudding batter.
This my non UK friends is a traditional British dish called 'Toad in the Hole'. Don't worry, no toads were harmed 😅 Sausages baked within a Yorkshire pudding batter. I was gonna use Bratwursts but then it wouldn't be British lol. Serve with buttery mash, peas and onion gravy yummy! 😋 #ToadTuesday 🐸
After France, Denmark is moving too: its Digitalisation Ministry plans to phase out Microsoft, switching to Linux and LibreOffice in the coming months. The goal is clear—reduce dependence on a handful of global tech giants and strengthen digital sovereignty.
This is your reminder that it's been ten months since the assassination of Melissa Hortman, her husband and her dog, and there hasn't been even a hint of justice for her family, friends or colleagues.

This doggo was adopted at the age of 18, after 17 years of living in a shelter, to at least experience the warmth and love of a family. And now, he just turned 21! Happy birthday, baby! ♥️

Ossoff: "You were talking earlier about Jared Kushner. The guy leading our diplomacy in the Middle East is bringing in billions from Middle Eastern princes and sheiks and going around the region asking for billions more while he conducts nuclear diplomacy on behalf of the country. It's obscene."
Mayor Mamdani and a group of children hold hands while running through red tape in a hallway.
For too long, bureaucracy kept 7 child care centers across our city empty — spaces that should have been alive with laughter instead collected dust.
We've run through that red tape. This fall, all 7 will open their doors, bringing an additional 240 free 3-K seats & real relief to working families.
I appreciate the science behind this, but I have become absolutely convinced that Humans have no business in space, whether it’s the Moon or Mars or any other planet. We’re in the process of destroying our own planet. Until we have saved our own planet 🌎 we have no business being anywhere in space
I liked when the object was exploration. Now it’s exploitation and that’s worrisome and sad.
Everyone wants to build bases on the Moon, which will add to it’s mass and cause it to gradually drift into a higher orbit over the Earth, resulting in weaker tidal forces on Earth and further fucking up our climate beyond all hope.
It’s already happening but the the extra junk will accelerate it!

🚀 Big news for #Artemis! NASA has officially rolled out the SLS core stage for the Artemis III mission. This 212-foot powerhouse is heading to Kennedy Space Centre as we prepare for the first crewed lunar landing in 2027. We’re going back to the Moon! 🌕

"This is an important thing to think about."
In February 1777, General George Washington ordered the first mass immunization campaign in American history by mandating that his troops be inoculated against smallpox. He protected the Continental Army from an epidemic that was deadlier than British forces.
249 years later, we have this idiot.
If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?
The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.
H.R. 1897 is moving fast in the House and could hit the floor for a full vote as soon as tomorrow. This bill would gut the Endangered Species Act forcing economic impact considerations into listing decisions, limiting your ability to challenge bad science in court,

"My son always texts to say he's on his way home. So I open the door, letting his 17 year old cat, and 16 year old doggo know that he's on his way. This is them waiting for him. Though it was adorable, and wanted to share." ❤️

Holy. Shit. This is Reid Wiseman's video he took with his iPhone while at the moon 🌙
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
Branch manager.. 😅
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.

Everyone can make a small contribution to protecting the habitat of these important creatures. Choose native plants. Plant native wildflowers, herbs like lavender and thyme, or shrubs such as cornelian cherry.
