In this context, we are super excited to try Frame VR’s new AI-assisted translation transcription tools, allowing everyone to speak in their native languages AT THE SAME TIME in virtual Frame spaces with the transcription coming out in English (or other languages).
We need fresh perspectives and diverse approaches for a healthy academic environment! Many of these international programs such as Fulbright, IDEAS, and Critical Languages Scholarships have been almost 100% federally funded and are now frozen.
Today we are hosting an innovation workshop for the new XR@UM Community of Practice and multilingual guests from international programs to brainstorm ways to use XR for maintaining existing & building new international relationships. My guess was that they left off the important qualifier: “Of the 7000 casualties that day, more than 5000 died from chlorine gas poisoning.”
Thanks for sharing. Remarkable courage and dedication to ethical principles. Glad that her story was brought to light.
I spied a rather puzzling sentence in the piece: “Of the 7000 casualties that day, more than 5000 died.” 🤔
