Fact: on July 15, Stephen Colbert called the 60 Minutes settlement a “big fat bribe” to bag the Paramount-Skydance merger.
Fact: on July 17, Paramount canceled the Colbert Show.
We call on NYS AG Letitia James to investigate.
Kudos to Stephen Colbert for speaking out.
Surrendering to the Trump regime's tyranny only invites more of it.
Paramount clearly seems to care more about getting a merger approved than its own integrity.
I think like many, many people I find the idea that CBS has just cancelled Colbert out of the blue like this for financial reasons *highly* implausible. He’s the most viewed late night host on TV, and his ratings have been going up.
