The man from Kent who saved Japanese blossom from extinction Botanist Collingwood Ingram successfully sent cuttings of the blossom back to Japan in a potato.

Collingwood Ingram, from Kent, was in Japan when shown a picture of a white cherry blossom thought to be extinct in the country.
He recognised it as Taihaku, which he’d seen in Winchelsea, East Sussex, later he sent cuttings back to its native Japan for propagation. 🌸

Our pumps usually go a penny over.. which’s begs the question of how much that would increase profits. It’ll be another overlooked issue staring someone in the face who doesn’t actually ever use a petrol pump. Surely the loss in theft warrants a change in how we pay for fuel now. 🤷🏽‍♂️ seems so obvious
