I used to read Harry Potter, Twilight… The Fault in Our Stars is still one of my favorite books…I had the Wizard of Oz book on my shelf..

That is the only pro about having access to so many people… I can get the books I wanted when I was growing up…

But I do books written by white people with all white characters…

I have a totally different take on that because I don’t read books with POC’s characters written by white authors.. they have to be POC’s… no offense to you but I just don’t read them

I am very intentional about what I read now… I had no choice when I was young but to read book about characters that didn’t look like me so imagine them Black.. now I have that choice… I still read other genres.. not like I used to..

Kings Distraction by Iesha Bree is a book I soft DNF last year. I am glad I decided to listen to the audiobook because I like the storyline and the characters…MMC was the FMC boss.. I usually don’t read workplace romance but I like this one 3.5/5 ⭐️
