Cayden Boozer Announces Return to Duke for Sophomore Season It's obviously been hard for Duke fans, hell, basketball fans in general, to not be enamored with everything shiny and new. For Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils, sometimes the best toys are the ones already in your toy box. Getting Cayden Boozer back for a sophomore season to run the Duke offense is a positive. In Boozer you have a steadying presence with a year under his belt and some postseason experience—a player who showed immense growth throughout the season and especially in the last half.

couldn't agree more, I said this to someone the other day that I thought they were kind of on borrowed time not being able to practice.

Anyway, it's been an awesome season to be a part of and an awesome team to cover. If you don't appreciate the actual journey and just get mad at the end result, then why are you even watching? Whatever you are feeling, trust me, the players & coaches feel so much worse than you.

yeah, most seasons are going to end in disappointment, whether you blow a lead or get blown out. Its the nature of the beast.

haha totally understand, we just need perspective. How many coaches in their first 4 years win championships. It's rare & its hard to win period. I'm not super upset about this, he went up against 2 straight hall of fame coaches and went toe to toe

Pretty bad collapse there from Duke, not much more you can say. Scheyer is in year 4, had 2 really good chances to finish things off. Maybe his best chances for a while but it's also NOT easy to win. 3 straight elite 8's is hard and he's young.

Duke goes into the half up 44-29; Duke up in rebounding 22-14, Cam with 13, Cayden with 14, Sarr with 5

exactly!

Yeah that's a definite mismatch; karaban is far too mobile to be guarded by Boozer or Brown.

Caleb Foster; That’s it, That’s the Title. If you listen to sports media, you'll hear there are no Cinderellas to talk about during this NCAA Tournament cycle. I would counter that maybe they just aren't paying attention. There was no national champion crowned last night; there aren't banners to be hung for winning a Sweet 16 game. But the weight of the moment was written all over Jon Scheyer’s face when he spoke about Caleb Foster.
