That’s weird af.
Stage with “the format” above it
Great show.
After ~10 years of dating, my wife and I sent our friends and family an engagement announcement video set to the song “Snails” by The Format.
That was 15 years ago.
About to go see The Format live tonight (after a long hiatus by the band).
Very excited!
Guess the cat is out of the bag!
I've been writing PHP since the late 90's, and its growth as a language has paralleled mine as a developer.
I'm happy and honored to be able to be a part of a group of people working to continue advancing the language so many of us depend on!
We are very happy to welcome Matt Stauffer as the newest Board member for The PHP Foundation! Matt brings decades of experience and we are grateful for his insight as we move forward.

Surprising absolutely no one, Sam’s latest article is exceptional.
I spent 2 months learning about quantization and am extremely proud of the post I've written about it. I think these are some of the nicest visuals I've ever made, and I love how this compression technique invented in 1898 is being used on the bleeding edge in 2026.

If you're a Laravel open source maintainer, this might be useful to you: cmorrell.com/laravel-matrix
It's a tool that lets you generate Github Action test matrices based on the Laravel/PHP versions you want to support.

I’m only 15% of the way into this, so I can’t say for sure, but this has been a fantastic audiobook so far.

Oh amazing! (Sorry it's been a pain, though.)
@terrygodier.bsky.social do you have Feedly as a source anywhere on the roadmap for Current?
Kinda remarkable, huh? (Given how much other bad advice I've given you.)
One million shots of espresso.
I just used github.com/travisvn/sto... to prevent the Tahoe upgrade notifications. I don't know why I didn't do it earlier.

That's bonkers, right? Like, every time you open NYT you're downloading all of Windows 95, but ads.
I don't think anyone would be surprised to hear that news websites suck. The thing that blew my mind was that the NYT homepage is as big as *all of Windows 95*
