Some good news! The Missing Element website by
Sublimio just earned a Special Kudos + all 3 Public Awards (best UI, UX and Innovation) from CSS Design Awards.

Add a GSAP Website of the Day and the week’s off to a great start.

We've had so much fun mixing luxury codes with clubbing and fashion culture to bring The Missing Element to life: a lifestyle brand offering seafront luxury residences and boats in Ibiza, Miami, and Costa Smeralda.

The only downside? My work ethic forced me to test the assets personally.

Thank you for your question. This is why I chose the name Sublimio for my boutique branding agency.

I spent way too much time last night exploring the design of the cover image for my latest article.

I love how flat colors (aside from the borders) convey a sense of depth.

SUMO #59 • BRUTAL If it's brutal, why is it so good?

I really enjoyed collecting thoughts and links about brutalism for the latest SUMO newsletter.

There’s something about it that keeps pulling me in. Maybe because I see it as minimalism’s rebellious cousin: rugged, radical, and unapologetically bold.

Teenage Engineering’s use of color inspired me to reflect on Sakari: a sake brand I had the honor of rebranding for its global launch, with 130 years of heritage and ties to Japan’s Emperor.

The solution was a joyful mix of Japanese traditional colors and patterns. And I'm still pretty proud of it.

I always use capitalization but I don't mind lowercase texts, they usually feel personal and authentic. Still, I feel that proper capitalization gives words more credibility or weight. And I just can't stand incorrect punctuation, though I guess that's also due to my OCD. :-)

Lately, I've been obsessed with Fear of God garments, especially from the Athletics collection. While I was already sold on the campaign photos, the design and material of the clothes are SO beautiful and comfortable. I mean, come on.
