💜 Love to see BMG expanding!

Completely agree -- Wingspan has a great AI! It's similar to the way the AI is implemented in Lost Ruins of Arnak, which I also enjoy. I love that the AI turns are simple (flip a card/tile and do what it says) and gameplay for the human player is essentially unchanged.

When I design solo modes, I focus on what I enjoy as a solo player. I like experiences that play similarly to the multiplayer game, placing pressure on the player and allowing them to leverage the same strategies/tactics as in the multiplayer game. I prioritize few rules changes and minimal upkeep.

Looks really fun! I adore puzzly games -- and of course, Clémentine Campardou's always stunning artwork.

Thanks for sharing! I really want to try Fliptown! The western theme isn't my favorite, but the way the cards are used sounds super clever and thematic.

Looks very cool! Seems puzzly, which is totally my kind of game!

I really want to play The Hobbit There and Back Again -- love the theme! I also love Cartographers. My other favs include Roll Through the Ages, That's Pretty Clever, and Avenue.

Working on some Roll/Flip and Writes. I love this genre -- always so satisfying to chuck dice and fill in your board/map/whatever. Do you have a fav Roll and Write? I'd love to hear about it! #boardgames #boardgamedesign

We have finalized all the component files for Stakeout and are ready to start production. It's been a long process (much longer than I expected for sure), but we're thrilled with how everything's turned out. It will be wonderful when backers finally get their games!

Def plan to give it another go! I can't say I've played anything else like it, and the disjointed feeling may resolve with repeated plays. (might be a me problem, and not a game problem)

My other disappointment is with the component quality. The books are SUPER cool -- but I'm concerned they won't hold up over time. And, the puzzle pieces (which are a central part of the game) aren't very high quality and don't fit together very well, which seems like a huge miss.

Hey Melissa! The artwork is gorgeous, and I love the concept, but my first play did feel a bit underwhelming. Maybe it's because the subject is so esoteric, but everything felt kind of disjointed. I was doing a lot of things - that triggered other things, but there wasn't much of a sense of purpose.

An early Christmas present to myself! 🎄I’ve actually had this game for a while, but have been saving it for when I was off for winter break. Can’t wait to dig in! 🧩💧#boardgames

Four cards from the board game Stakeout. One card shows the card back with a magnifying glass and the word "Investigation." Another card shows "St. Mary's Church" and an image of a black car sitting in front of an old church with the moon and clouds in the background. Another card shows "Clara: The Actress" and an image of a young woman with a fan facinator. Another card shows the "Locket" with a red pendant with a diamond in the center dangling from a gold chain.

Exciting news 🎉 -- Stakeout is fully funded and the first stretch goal has been unlocked.🔓Thank you so much to the backers, and to everyone else who's helped spread the word! 🖤🤎🩷🩶 #boardgames #dicegames #Kickstarter

Mine’s already in the works - Agricola and Last Night on Earth (or maybe Zombicide depending on your favorite flavor zombie game). Time will tell if it’s genius or madness. 😂
