For every "successful" artist who made it past the capitalist gatekeepers, there is an incalculable number who did not & thus were neglected & forgotten. That's wrong. We don't need more (mostly vacuous) superstars; we need a new artistic middle class who get a living wage just for being artists.

It's miraculous that Art in general has survived the entire way Art has been framed in human society for centuries; but it's still true that for every "successful" (i.e. moneymaking) artist there are millions who've been neglected & forgotten by the gatekeepers. This must change.

The people's majority decisions MUST be made to actually RULE, even if ill-advised. PERIOD. No more of this "ruling class can moderate their decisions" crap. It's ASKING for fascism.
