We also have a new law in #Idaho: minors cannot receive any medical care without the consent of their guardian.

So if a child has been raped by a family member, and becomes pregnant, what chance does she have of terminating a pregnancy?

However, any child under the age of 16 who is pregnant is ***by legal definition*** the victim of rape.

Why does she need to produce a police report? Her pregnancy is proof of her rape.

I have asked this question of several state politicians. None of them had an answer for me.

In the state of Idaho, the age of consent is 16.

If a pregnant child wants an abortion, she has to "prove" she was raped by producing a police report.
