Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia—
AOC: Wah wah wah.
We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no.
What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over.

Seattle's projected high is 69 degrees, on today, 4/20.
lol
related to tim curry’s birthday, but i happened to be thinking about this meme heavily the past couple days already
France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.
Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars
The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.
Why aren't we doing this?
This site has been pretty chill as far as piratey sites go - nice UI, no weird boxes I have to check to watch things, HD streams

FYI, Seattle.
Yeah, feels like if people aren't willing to talk about the prevalence of hit and runs I hear about all the time then what are they talking about?
That's a great idea
THE PITT ~ Nights
New space horror TTRPG session prompt just dropped!
Oh no!
What I took from 27 (now 43) was sitting with how much I didn't know and learning to enjoy that and lean into my curiosity.
Truly hate the "dark arts" convo in soccer. If a player has to exaggerate fouls, or egregiously foul, then they aren't as good a player as they say they are.

Everybody remember to stretch
I might be the only person in Seattle who is happy to see the snow! I'm sorry to you all, but I'm loving it!
Just wild. Real "The Titanic isn't sinking! That Iceberg just said hello!" vibes
Finally snowing in Seattle!!!! Better late than never!
Ok after some truly champion milling around, we're I think about to start the Millionaires Tax debate in the House. It's not every day you get to be a part of something actually historic, so we're ready to go. Very good chance this takes 12 hours. #waleg
To understand what's happening in Iran today, you have to know about the history of Western intervention in the country.
In the early 1900s, the British secured oil rights in the country until 1993, where they only agreed to pay Iran 16% of the total profits.
This was seen as an unfair deal. 🧵
it's crazy! I don't know I've ever seen a half go so long!
It's gotta be so hard for all the players to keep restarting
I hope he calls them all socialists, I need a laugh.
This is a great idea! It's exciting to think of how one could 'up the ante' on x-games competitions by adding magic and fae bullshit
"why do you have so many ttrpg books"
Well, I was born with a condition that prevents my body from producing its own ttrpg book so I have to outsource to maintain proper balance.
These are all helpful thoughts! Thank you I'll check out the Savage Worlds for Eberron!
also thank you for your thoughts!
For sure my setting crunch idea is still in early stages. I think what I'm trying to get at is to flesh out the worldbuilding structures of magic. Rather than focus on the stat crunch. I agree with you that Eberron is held back by the system, so I thought, approach it from the other direction.
genius on the reactivation fees!
Could also go for software updates that download at variable speeds depending on the tier of subscription
You've really driven my brain with this prompt - so thank you!
Another wrinkle could be the need to constantly have the latest cyberware. Subscriptions only work on past three years of models (or whatever punishing timeline works best).
really build on that and see how much magic one can pump into a setting. I've already told my players that all cantrips and most lower level utility spells are built into items. A closet that uses transmutation to clean your clothes., etc.
there. While part of this discussion can lead to looking at the top tier - power creep sort of magic. I'm actually more curious to find where all the boundaries are so that I can build more in the middle space between dragon magic and 5e spells lists. Eberron is a high magic setting, I want to 3/
