There may come a day when the BBC puts on air one of the other 29,999 headteachers currently estimated to be working in UK schools, but that day is not today

Show Your Working: A Challenge to Reform UK What real efficiency looks like, why Reform’s approach is pure theatre, and why public trust depends on more than vibes.

£450k audit fees. TV licences. Foreign aid.

Reform UK finds a big number, strips the context, and screams “WASTE!”

Meanwhile, I’m here with my spreadsheets.

Let me walk you through the difference.

You forgot “deeply stupid”. It’s way beyond ignorance.

It’s funny, if you mention how they seem to using the Handmaid’s Tale as an instruction manual, people think you’re being hyperbolic. They haven’t read the book.

Alex is great, and her Disorder podcast is well worth a listen. I’m sure you know this already!

I have many friends, family and neighbors facing job losses and financial difficulties. My community is in turmoil. People in countries I care about are being abandoned. The values and principles I worked for my entire life for are being betrayed. Eventually, we’re all caught in Trump’s tsunami. 🧵

This is, by some distance, the most unforgivably stupidest thing the government is doing. An easily sellable proposal, which would actually help Brits, and unlocks meaningful negotiation. Irrational and anti-growth.

What is driving this position? It does not seem to make any sense at all. Why are they doing this?

I’ve been privileged to meet several autistic people over the years & none of them did Nazi salutes…

What you are saying might be true, before now, but with Trump in the White House, it would be idiotic. You want us to get a good deal? Like the deal Trump negotiated with Canada and Mexico? The one he is currently ignoring? We should get a deal like that, should we?

So the usual lots of words to say nothing of worth, but nothing like the headline suggests. Thank you.

Did he write a bot to make the complaints for him? 70 complaints a day? How?

Of course it is. I hope the next president returns the favour, if the piece of shit isn’t already dead.

It’s always fun when Nazis discover that naziism is t quite a popular as they think it is.

Hmmm. I’ve just criticised her for this. I hope you’re correct and I’m wrong. I am really growing to hate the press. Well, most of it.

Headline reading: The grass isn’t always greener: why expats return to the UK
About 99,000 Brits emigrated last year, but 61,000 came back. These are the challenges of moving back to Blighty after living abroad

How many times do I need to say this?

These are not expats, they are immigrants.

You don’t “expat” somewhere, you emigrate, and that makes you an immigrant.

I have never heard anyone refer to “Bangladeshi Expats” or “Polish Expats”, it’s always immigrants, so why not here?

I love that when I say "the good place" and "the bad place" everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about.

It’s WILD how farmers can threaten to withhold food and that’s absolutely fine. But when NHS workers are striking for fair pay and a safer NHS, the right completely lose their minds. We have nurses using food banks, the right don’t care. We have farmers with land worth £Ms… we must /1

Wow. According to this image it looks like nurses - whose real-terms pay has declined by at least 20% since 2010 are responsible for driving up UK borrowing. Thanks for clearing that up BBCNews

● Jaguar Land Rover adds £10bn annually to the UK economy

● Employs 11,000 people in the UK

● Creates thousands more jobs in supply chain reliant on it

● And Grandad Nigel wants them to go bust because he doesn't like the ads.

Why do YOU think he doesn't like them?
