I didn't know you're a OaT fan! We fans of mid-90s Canadian TV shows need to stick together. ๐ซก

"It's this godforsaken town, all the streets are named for people." #OnceAThief
Bright red tulips in a garden bed next to some paving stones. Two flowers are just open, another one is just about to open, and two more are still closed but looking ready to pop at any time.
I would be happier to see these if it weren't supposed to snow tomorrow.
"Godless in the broom of day..."
"Incredibly, it's my real name."
"BEANS, BEANS, BEANS, BEANS, BEANS."
'Wang Dang Doodle' -> 'It Happened One Night' -> 'Drive, She Said'
Three of my favourites, all in a row. #OnceAThief
Having finally (FINALLY!!) gotten my hands on #OnceAThief dvds (the tv show), I'm into a rewatch!
...LiAnn, why are you in love with either of these fools.
Apparently HBO's affection for vidders extends beyond that HR vidder they hired: youtu.be/hLFOhHpshEA?...
Ah, excellent!
At the closing of the second season of The Pitt, lo, there came a cry from a host of vidders united in one voice of mingled delight and anguish:
"Why'd you have to put CREDITS OVER IT???"
Niece was correct, blue hair is perfect.
I assume the Dracula lifting his cape flamboyantly on the back cover is supposed to be Lestat.
Coworker has their dog in the office today. Every once in a while, floating down from the other end of the hallway come the dulcet tones of a squeaky toy being gently gnawed.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with that bullshit.
SO MANY SOURCES
How about a vid I want to include where the vidder didn't list his sources and I don't recognize any of them. ๐ซ ๐ซ ๐ซ
How about a vidshow about fandom, I said. How about multiple extremely multisource vids examining the breadth of fandom activities and inspirations spanning decades. How about none of the vids and only a tiny fraction of the sources are already in the database.
Ahahaha. ๐ซ
Jordan Leichnitz: "It's clear that the Liberals under Carney are building a big tent, and apparently it's such a big tent you can drive a trucker convoy through it"
I guess what I'm saying is that this particular floor-crossing seems kinda Trojan Horse-y, except without the subterfuge.
In late 2024, at a meeting with local trades, I listened to this woman mock Liberal regulations, hype LNG pipelines, hope that a PC MP's school ties to JD Vance would result in "improved" CAN/US relations, and persistently, creepily, keep referring to Poilievre not by name but as "our leader".
Ooo pretty! And only a penny! What a perfectly reasonable silly purchase.
Holy shit, my MP (CPC *spits*) picked a bad day to send a boilerplate reply to the email I sent him a month ago about Canada's milquetoast response to the US bombing Iran.
Oh, that's a lot, I'm sorry. Sending good thoughts for your dad and your family.
I assumed you were going for a solo dinner, ie without Andre.
That's a great colour!
FOUND IT
Dried mango.
Not really hungry but vaguely dissatisfied and feel like some specific food will fix it but unsure what specific food will do it but convinced that if I graze through various things in my kitchen I'll stumble across it eventually
So exciting! And the end of April is so soon!! ๐
A backyard tree coming down is way worse than a ravine tree coming down! This was nowhere near the house, fortunately. I hope your sister's house wasn't hit, and that the tree cleanup was easy.
