(Left): Dimensions of the pyramidal horn that was selected as the reference design. The flare section has an aperture of 7.3 x 6.0โ€‰m, an edge slant length of 5.099โ€‰m, and an overall vertical height of 4.3โ€‰m. The rectangular waveguide section has an aperture of m and a height of 2.997m. The horn will be static, pointing at zenith, and will have a welded mesh conductive surface. The location of the feed is marked on the waveguide. (Right): Detailed design drawing showing the multipanel construction, consisting of 2.4 x 1.2 m mesh panels cut to size/shape and welded into steel angle frames. These are then bolted together to form a self-supporting structure.

While the article doesn't state it, it sounds like it might be away to recover some of the energy used, if there's a source of low-salt waste water

Hi Meredith, It's a frequency (10.6 to 12.9GHz) vs time (increasing upwards over 10 minutes) waterfall plot. So you can see the 8 bands. I do have a before, in slightly different format. As you can see things have got a lot busier

Ugh! The lowest band is now getting used sometimes - the one next to the reserved astronomy band at 10.6GHz
