One justice per circuit seems to be a completely reasonable and justifiable number.
And just barely enough
Yeah, but I looked at it and thought, okay, so there's Polish, like the nationality, and polish like the thing you do with (and put on)your nails.
And even thinking of Poland I forgot about the language
Oh gosh, I completely forgot about the language.
Facepalm
A nationality would be an adjective, rather than a proper noun, though.
.. and I just remembered that it's also a language, which is a proper noun and what I was blanking on.
Whoops.
An answer from the New York Times 'Connections' game. The category is 'Words pronounced different ways as proper nouns' The four answers are Herb, Nice, Polish, and Reading.
Does the @nytimes.com not know what a proper noun is (and isn't), or am I forgetting a usage here?
There's a verb and an adjective form, and while there is a noun form, it's not a proper one.
If you don't want your children around that sign, then keep them away from that sign.
The problem here is not the sign.
Also 1996 when the Raptors won the lottery, but they decided that it didn't count.
They did that one openly though
That's been a subject of debate since at least high school, tbh.
He had a great nap and then a wonderfully busy afternoon.
It was great meeting you the other day at this event!
Full pedestrianisation would be much better for emergency vehicles as well.
Much easier for people to get out of the way than it is cars stuck in a jam.
Sentient vehicles, out to kill people?!
I feel like a machine uprising should be bigger news.
We've got tickets for your Massey Hall show in October, and we're so excited.
This is why I much prefer hockey in person (especially in the cheap seats) to on TV.
You can see the whole ice at once, which makes following the puck much easier, since you can see the plays develop.
Tough to do with all the close-in shots of television.
Truly some of Vincent Price, s best work
I just remembered the Hilarious House of Frightenstein. Which still feels like a fever dream even though I know it existed.

The extent to which carney just keeps folding to trump over and over is depressing.
Very silly of me to assume it worked like EVERY OTHER gov't savings programme.
Well, my next year taxes are going to be ghoulish. Ugh.
Fun fact, FHSA room does NOT work like TFSA or RRSP room. It expires.
So the really great thing about boardgames and Magic, is that you don't need to destroy it after one play through.
Winning ends the game, it doesn't have to end play.
This is correct. For example, my Shalai Hatebears deck ensure that nobody has fun, and I'm going to lose.
You CAN have both!
F2F Ottawa Regional championships in Gatineau?
Sounds like it'll be a Hull of a good time!
(This is a very niche Canadian geography joke)
My LGS, @facetofacegames.bsky.social is completely sold out for all 9 of their prereleases this weekend!
The people love Strixhaven!
A Google Maps streetview showing the corner where the new Leslieville Station is going - there is a De Grassi St streetsign on the corner.
Yep as, of course, is this.
Thinking about this more and, you know what?
Rather than "Leslieville", which is actually in Riverside, just go based on both actual location and name recognition:
Degrassi.
Surely they know?
Apropos of nothing, I drove by Science Centre Station the other day.
I was shocked at how badly done the name change really is. The old name was etched right onto the glass. Rather than replacing the glass, they just covered it in what looks like black vinyl. Ugh.
Corktown just feels so much more... station-y? than Distillery District.
And doesn't Chinatown end north of Queen?
Actually, maybe just delays.
