I finally watched the new #Dorohedoro episodes and I think they do a better job of capturing the manga vibe. Probably mostly because MAPPA has gotten better at translating 3D models to 2D so it’s not as jarring to watch

I decided to reread the #Dorohedoro manga now that the second anime season is airing and, though I enjoy the anime, the manga just has *vibes* that the anime doesn’t quite capture. Q Hayashida’s art is messy and dark and amazing and I really recommend it. Probably my favorite manga of all time
