Barely able to write this honestly
Late to beginning usual crowd funding because of illness and uncertainty. Very weak and sickly, have ~3 days to clean up before an inspection (not hard but will take literally all of my energy to do)

American speakers are blissfully unaware, but UK speakers and etymologists often instinctively discover the original roots of "burgle" (sometimes just as an accidental joke), because when we break it down we know the word as
hamb + urgler (hamburgler)
and not
hamb + burgler (hambburgler?)
Their solution, as it often happened, was to add another letter, and so that produced the word "burgle" in modern English
Later during the Norman invasion, the French and Flemish got confused by the word "urgle" and its similarly to the French word "urge" since having urges does not mean you are going to urgle something.
Also related to urger is a derivative verb "urgl" in Middle English, which then became "urgle", meaning "to snatch; to take away"
Thus we get the word "hamburgler" as a name for someone who urgles hambs
