I worked in Copley Sq (old Glad Day Books) the year of the 100th Boston Marathon running. Pre-9/11&Bombing, it was the biggest security presence I had ever seen in Boston. Couldn’t cross Boylston. Had to get off Green Line at Arlington & double back. Anyway, it’s the 130th on Monday. Eff I’m old!

Went with De-Luxe for final song. There's a 4AD sound, which really has many prongs: Muses/Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Wolfgang Press, Bauhaus, etc. IMHO, Lush is the nexus band - a little bit all of the above.
