At a restaurant my partner and I went to, I picked a dish and asked if it was low carb or had any sugar cause I’m diabetic

The staff looked at me, then at my partner, then back at me and said
"He looks more like the diabetic than you"

And I'll take that as a compliment LOL

so I just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and my doctor asked about my family history

then I talked to my mom and found out literally everyone HAS it
like her sisters, her aunt, her cousins, my great-grandma, AND her kids too
but my mom IS the lucky one who didn’t get diabetes...

clearly didn't listen 😔 (full in bio)

Small warm up to get my hand moving before returning to my regular workflow 💪

apparently the first thing I drew after weeks of rest was a panic plant

anw he strongly recommended that I cut down my working hours to prevent this from happening again😔

I saw an orthopedic specialist and apparently it’s rare to injure your shoulder, elbow, and wrist all at once like this

He asked what I do for a living and I said I’m an artist
But didn’t specify what kind

I need to take about a 2 week break to recover from an arm injury
My doctor has advised me to rest fully so I can heal properly and avoid long term damage
I’ll update again when I’m ready to return 😊🙏
