Yes ..... I was wondering exactly the same ...... although in my ponderings over a F mount 28, I had already noted that would make a useful 42mm equivalent on my partners D80 - if I can get excited enough to use it! 😆

A neat little experiment, Mark. Thank you. I often use HP5 pushed to 800 in the winter months .... and am usually very pleased with the contrast.
The last couple of times I pushed it to 1600, I developed it in FX39 II. I was amazed by the fine detail and smooth grain.

I call it a fine bit of creativity, Dave. I am guessing all those tones, stains and birds are electronic help, but if you had told me it was old fashioned toning and darkroom trickery, including neg sandwiches, then I would have said "Well done". It has aged like a print in the smoke filled snug. 👏

Yes. Thanks Peter. Depending on distances, lighting, how I am feeling / seeing things ..... for primes I have rotated between 35, 50 and 85 for some years now. I am just considering expanding a bit wider! 😉

Indeed. But that is my old camera from early 80's, kept just ..... well, because .....
It lacks the precision and stoutness of the Nikons that I swapped to 30 years ago.
However, I am putting a roll through it, just for fun ..... and to get a feeling of whether a 28 prime could be a main lens.

Nice. With my BnW nowadays, I have settled on lighter, smaller, well balanced lenses. Hence I replaced it with the 28-70.
