Mike Lee is my Senator, unfortunately. I got on his web page and wrote him my own censorious condemnation of his tweets. I note that he has a very weak newer tweet condemning violence in Minnesota and Utah. Hypocrite.

Mike Lee, I am very sorry to say, is my senator. He has a LOT to answer for. This is despicable; there is absolutely no excuse for such a post as Mike Lee made about the murder of a politician in the United States. Where did Lee's humanity go? Did he ever have any?

I like that the Canadians used Charles to make a point. I'm glad he allowed himself to be so used, although hoping the UK prime minister will disinvite Trump is maybe too much to expect, alas.

@deetoriadee.bsky.social , you are right about Charles and the insular UK being problematic on the subject of diversity, refugees & immigrants (and related issues), but my intent was to applaud the symbolism that the Canadian parliament decided to use against my own whacko government.

I love how Charles speaks several languages besides English fluently, and the speech includes much in French, the other official language of Canada. This is how Canadian & UK leaders "do" diversity, not by deporting all the French Canadians!
