An extremely funny thing about retro rereleases that use unlicensed emulators is that you are basically committing the exact same crime (using software outside of the terms of its license) that has you so scared of downloading roms in the first place but now someone has monetized it.
it's pretty clear that they want to cultivate an atmosphere of BMing other runners. i once taunted a guy who was about to kill me in the exfil ring saying by saying "you won't even be able to loot me!" and i got to watch him frantically try and fail to loot me from outside the ring lol
