Maybe sometimes the moth will specifically let a part of their true form appear to all just for fun or to tease those around them~

whether by sleep deprivation, intoxication, illness, lust, or anything else taking away their mental focus will see "hallucinations" of the moffs true form, which could be shadows, or objects around them forming an outline, or a vision during a blink~

saw an art piece showing a normal fur but their shadow, it showed a more, primal, alluring, vibrant, lustful version. and its got me thinking about my character and it struck me, they'd look normal as well to the standard observer, but those who have had their mental guards lowered, (1/2)
