NHS could start offering breast cancer checks to women in their thirties Currently women are only eligible for breast screening from the age of 50, but thousands are diagnosed younger

Helen was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at 42 in 2012; she died from it metastasising in 2017 aged 49 leaving me with 3 kids to raise alone.

No surprise I think screening for breast cancer in their 30’s is an extremely good idea.

I won’t be in London tonight with my fellow safc fans, my legs ache too much and I’m training at 4am. Walking across a sea of crushed beer cans, not yet..

If we win tomorrow there is a distinct possibility I’ll be paying Trafalgar Square & Covent Garden a visit though 😂

I work out early at the gym.

It’s nice and quiet the earlier it is. Far too busy after 6am.

Normally it’s a 4am start but if I wake up early like 1-2am I just go and work out, then sleep deeply after I shower.

Taking advantage of my irregular biphasic sleep patterns 😀

It’s pretty staggering that 25 years ago people thought the internet would bring us a utopia, and it brought back measles killing children instead

I thought the stupidest act of self immolation of an economy could never be topped with Tories choosing a idiotic hard Brexit which is still hammering the UK.

The tiny fisted tangerine in months looks like he’s easily going to top that by plunging the entire world into the 💩

SMFH!!

The question of if a country could fuck itself harder than the UK did with Brexit has today been answered.

For an absolute bargain of £40 on vinted I’ve got the perfect thing to wear when I meet my dear Newcastle supporting friend the night before the cup final week Saturday.

Sunderland fans will know 😂😂😂

And there it is. Putin’s lifelong dream. After years of relentless Russian propaganda, now fully embraced by the American president and the world’s richest oligarch, millions of Americans are convinced that this is a good plan because Europe is an enemy and Putin is our friend.

Can Reacher’s Alan Ritchson Get Any Bigger? He got mega-swole to play Jack Reacher, an itinerant vengeance specialist with fists the size of Thanksgiving turkeys. Now the show’s a hit and he’s a star. But Ritchson won’t stop pushing himself har...

As a Reacher fan about to binge all three episodes today I simply have to share Alan Ritchson’s excellent interview with GQ.

His comments about a politician he knows is priceless.

A pile of too big shorts on the left, smaller ones that now fit on the right. On a faux fur blanket

A pile of too big shorts on the left, smaller ones that now fit on the right. On a faux fur blanket

After losing four and a half stone, that’s 60lb or 27 kilos today has been a landmark day in clearing out my clothes.

Shorts on the left too big, right now fit.

2 big bags of big clothes to go the charity shop tomorrow, and a bag of labels to sell on Vinted!

😀😀

Just migrated to my new MacBook Pro M4 Pro from the M3 Pro.

Going from 12 core 6 performance 6 efficiency cores to 14 core 10 performance and 4 efficiency is a very noticeable increase in horsepower.

As with my Samsung S95D QD OLED TV I really do love the matte nano texture display ♥️

Jair Bolsonaro charged over alleged far-right coup plot to seize power in Brazil Former president is charged by attorney general following police report that accused him of organising a conspiracy to stop Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva taking power.

Oh, look what normal countries do when a former president leads a far right coup attempt.

Yosemite halts camping reservations, with no timetable for their return Yosemite halts camping reservations, with no timetable for their return at a time when federal employees are being laid off

Want to go visit the national parks this year?
Sorry.
The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired.

Oh gosh, been there before with my girls I was terrible too. Having no hair for such a long time didn’t help!

Due to some unhygienic parents in both the girls primary school classes I did however become the ‘nit shower’ king of the house. I became very proficient at terminating the little fockers.

The irony of the richest man in the world almost single-handedly destroying an agency designed to help the world’s poor, so that the U.S. federal budget has more room for another giant tax cut for the richest man in the world and his pals, should not be lost on anyone. [Cartoon by Mike Luckovich]

I’m up to date with Covid & flu, but gonna get my first Shingrix shingles jab probably next month.

Like my siblings we can repeatedly get chickenpox and my older brothers shingles was so savage last year. Has to be done!
