We received a $258,735 grant to help bridge the digital divide in underserved communities by providing laptops along w/ digital literacy resources & training. So far, we’ve distributed 35 laptops, w/ 40 more going out this year & another 75 next year, supporting hubs like Daystar Life Center.

This was my first visit and it is now one of my favorite places. Switzerland and Lake Tahoe are at the top of my list.

I have been trying to find time to play with @teenageengineering’s OP–Z 16-track sequencer/synthesizer. It is a great portable device that, in addition to music, can sequence visuals and lighting. Adding this to my other electronics/drum kit (with triggers) will be really cool via a projector.

Early Access for my Ray-Ban glasses; testing their live translation capabilities enabling real-time language translation. Eventually, the translated text will be in the lenses and I won't need my phone. This has the potential to break down language barriers and allow for seamless communication.

NotebookLM released their 'Interactive Mode' where you can now join in on its Audio Overview (Deep Dive) conversations. It is like being on a radio show or podcast with hyperrealistic AI-generated bot-hosts. I think this is an interesting way to interact with your own content.
