I'm writing on the Maine Senate candidates as a Black resident of Maine. I am a writer, but I'm not a journalist. However, I run an anti racism organization, and I'm deeply involved in movement and organizing spaces in this region. That's the lens I'm bringing to my conversations with candidates.

David Costello, who is also a candidate for US Senate in Maine, is also on my list. His team reached out a few weeks ago.
