The Editor very kindly sent an email before TX, which must be a first!

I've just had a chance to check, and it seems there was a 5-second fault on the original tape. (Whether it occurred after the initial TX isn't mentioned.) It's nice they did an edit instead of ditching the episode from the repeats, though.
He was also in a Jimmy Perry / Raymond Allen pilot called Sidney You're a Genius (starring Maria Aitken) for the BBC in 1977.
I've done the first two, but that's it.
The bleeping gag gets annoying quickly, and these days I now associate Mambo Number 5 with Channel 4's cricket coverage, not football.
A VT clock from BBC Wales' Pub Quiz, in 2001. Oddly, this appears to be the pilot, transmitted as "Pub Quiz Special" on 6/11/2001, the week before the "official" first programme.
Would that be the one with Jo Guest? It's the only one the archive mysteriously says there are "No Holdings" (TX 9/5/03). Annoyingly, he paperwork stops in 2002. It's probably underneath one of the new houses in Llandaff now.
Anyway, I see it was recorded at Culverhouse Cross.
Have a clock.
There are some people who think I faked it. Dear me! That was the day I learned that *anything* is possible in a Pres Suite.
Happy 10th Anniversary to the time I managed to play a BBC Two Wales symbol into The One Show.
(If you must know, Network extended their junction, and changed the symbol to Dog Display. I tried to follow suit but only searched for "Dog" in the database as I was playing out a PPB. Silly me.)
IN Good Morning Britain (ITV), which was loaded well over the Plimsolls and indeed, over the 'Wellies, with April 1 jokers, Derek Jameson showed a Sunday headline " Libya Death Threat to Albert Tatlock." The incessant tippling at the Rover's Return was, appar-ently, getting up orthodox Arab noses. It was unfortunate—though It should have been foresee-able—that TVam news almost instantly announced that 88-year-old Jack Howarth, who played Albert Tatlock in Cor-onation Street, had died in the night. In a perfect world, one feels, the director would not have let the pre-recorded programme roll on regardless with Jameson ho'hoing hear-tily " I love the idea of poor Albert Tatlock in his hotel this morning eating his eggs and bacon and hearing the Libyan death squads arc after him." And David Frost spreading oil on troubled Tatlocks. " Absolutely. Let's reassure him absolutely about that."
The best media April Fool jokes are the ones that get inadvertently poleaxed by real events.
I loved this programme of his from back in 1978.
My copy arrived yesterday. It's rather fab, and reminds me how much music I discovered listening to Radio 2 back then. I've already thought of a bunch of tracks for my imaginary second volume.
A truncated programme title on a tv listing reads ‘The Installation of the One Hun…’
Can’t help thinking this an over-familiar term for the new Archbishop of Canterbury.
You and your euphemisms.
"Did you do that version of the Pink Panther theme like I asked?"
"Swooning Mantovani strings, bongos, screaming slide guitar, sleazy meter change, piano player going cocktail-jazz bonkers? Sure, sure boss. Just like you wanted it"

I can only think that whoever set it up left without telling anyone the folder where the logo is stored or whatever the technical reason is called.
There's a place in Molford that certainly sells them.
Credit from The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra reading "Spaceship built by Joey Saccadonuts".
It's been years since I watched The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, a 2001 spoof of 50s B-movies, so I dug it out last night. I do like the name that Dan Conroy (who played Ranger Brad) chose to be credited with as the builder of the spaceship.
You just made me reach for my copy.
Wripple is Shit looks intriguing.
I've been rewatching Alexei Sayle's Stuff and now can't get the William Rees Mogg music out of my head. Turns out it's by Herb Alpert, so here it is in full. Alas, you'll have to source your own picture of Rees Mogg.

The Four Horsemen in This is Pop! was on BBC Choice in 2000. There's remarkably little about it on the Internet.
I ended up importing the DVD of the series. Most enjoyable.
“Excuse me. Do you sell barrels?”
Too soon?
Reliving my favourite childhood comic here 😀
Great to hear Song for Jeremy. I bought that after seeing James's review. A 4-track Arista 12" as I recall. Thanks.
Your words are a life-saving kit. If you see someone who doesn’t look OK, a little small talk could save their life. Anyone can do it.

My first thought was that they're going to have to redo the logos on the prizes. Well done, Al's brain.
It's Charles Street in Cardiff. Aha!
Aha!
It's Charles Street in Cardiff. HTV staying very close to home.
Thanks to those who reposted.
He's now wondering if it's Carmarthen.
