Game Awards last year took place during a videogame strike against AI

The strike wasn’t mentioned or acknowledged despite many VO performers working on the games that are heralded every year and even appearing on stage

This year a game that features AI voiceover gets a podium to accept an award.

After a few months of waiting and searching and good deals slipping by, I finally snagged an economical and reliable car at a reasonable price so I can cart the granddaughter around safely.
It’s the support of fans who come to cons and shop on my store that make it possible, so THANK YOU!

I now spend 48 hours a week holding this grandchild because she won’t sleep unless held and rocked, and she gets bored and screams after 5 minutes of any activity.
That’s a full time job on top of housework and regular work. If I owe you a drawing, I can only ask for your continued patience.

I am very grateful to everyone who is still standing by me and supporting me to continue the work I have always loved. I will share more information about my decision on my social media pages tomorrow.

A few Sonic fancharatcers are cosplaying the characters from other universes. Gizmo (owner: me) is cosplaying Buzz Lightyear, Gem (owner: @skyticktum.bsky.social) is cosplaying Spider-Gwen, Neo (owner: @neonoisebomb.bsky.social) is cosplaying Raven, and Hack (owner: @seacat17.bsky.social) is cosplaying Rocket the Raccoon, also holding a Devastator gun.

Reminder to everyone donating to food banks in light of the Republicans starving SNAP: It is far more cost effective to donate directly to food banks than to buy food and give it to them. They can buy in bulk and have existing relationships with sellers, so your few bucks go way further that way

Everyone tries to tell you apathy is cool, but the sooner you learn earnestness is strength not cringe and that all your quirks are what people will fall in love with, the sooner learn how to define your own happiness and find true friends who love youf for you
